Exotic, remote, fun & uncrowded

Travel with us to Papua New Guinea and experience an unforgettable surfing holiday.

There are a number of surf regions in Papua New Guinea and a PNG surfing trip to this destination equals one of the ultimate surfing adventures. The culture, the people and of course the waves make it a memorable experience wanting you to go back each year.

Papua New Guinea is referred to as surfing’s last frontier. Come on a PNG surfing trip where you can expect consistent waves, no crowds, tropical warm water and spending your time in remote and exotic locations.

The PNG surf season is from October through to April. During this time you will enjoy amazing waves in Papua New Guinea, with all of the PNG surfing regions offering a wide selection of breaks. With the surf management plan in place, limiting the number of visiting surfers to each region, on most days you will be surfing with just your mates and possibly a few friendly locals. What more do you want?

We are a surf tour operator and work closely with all established PNG surf camps.

Working with Local Communities

PNG Surfing Trips – consistent waves, tropical waters, the company of friendly locals and a guarantee of no crowds… Sound good?

Sustainable surfing is about sustainable tourism. Support local communities directly when you take a PNG surfing trip.

The Surf Management Plan, implemented by the PNG Surfing Association, limits the number of visiting surfers to each region. All Surf Management Areas receive $15 per surfer per day, which is essentially an access agreement to local breaks between the traditional land custodians, surf tourism operators and visiting surfers. This means on most days you will most likely be sharing a break with just your mates and a few friendly locals, while at the same time helping to preserve the ocean playground.

We have been working closely with the Surfing Association of Papua New Guinea since 2009.

PNG is surfing’s last frontier. Papua New Guinea has established surf camps located in Vanimo, Kavieng, Wewak and Madang as well as Bougainville with waves ranging from 1 – 10 foot between October and April for surfers of all levels to enjoy. You will find reef breaks, points and the odd beach break.

Surfing in Papua New Guinea is an experience not to be missed for anyone looking for a unique surf trip!
