My PNG surf trip to Vanimo with No Limit Adventures and crew was incredible. A seamless journey from Cairns had me paddling out into 4ft surf at 2 in the arvo after leaving home earlier that same day! Accommodation was comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, food plentiful and the conditions perfect for most of the trip. Great choice of breaks to suit everyone. Good quality for next to nothing price and so close to home. Locked into my holiday calendar for life. Thanks Konrad and No Limit Adventures.
I just returned from a 7 day surfing trip in PNG (Vanimo) that was organized by Konrad from No Limit Adventures. The bungalow accommodation beside the beach was fantastic, the atmosphere and local people were brilliant, and the waves never stopped pumping!! Every day the waves kept coming - there are heaps of wave options (for different levels) including both left and right hand breaks. The number of surfers at any one time is limited to 16, although I never surfed with more than 5 people. No hassles in the lineup. Pure heaven = long empty wave walls. Highly recommend it and No Limit Adventures will get you there. Don't deny yourself - just do it.
Thanks to No Limit Adventures I was privileged to experience unforgettable dives and improve my surfing on uncrowded waves in the most remote and exclusive part of PNG in Kavieng. The trip itself was professionally organized with luxury accommodation and delicious food on beautiful small island 40 min away from Kavieng. Resort owners and local genuinely friendly people made this trip not just special but awesome experience that makes me still missing that place. Can not wait to go back there next February. I highly recommend this place to anyone as next holiday destination.
I’ve travelled the world surfing, but No Limit Adventures’ exclusive PNG surf trip last year was by far one of the most unique surf trips of my life. Professionally organised, fantastic location, amazing locals & some of the funnest & most uncrowded waves I’ve ever surfed - great for all levels of surfing. Highly recommended if you’re after something a little different than a normal surf trip, but still want to score some awesome waves.
Surfing Papua New Guinea – the ultimate surfing holiday. Consistent waves, warm tropical waters, the company of friendly locals and a guarantee of no crowds… Sound good?
Sustainable surfing is about sustainable tourism. Support local communities directly when you take a PNG surf trip. The Surf Management Plan, implemented by the PNG Surfing Association, limits the number of visiting surfers to each region. All Surf Management Areas receive $12 per surfer per day, which is essentially an access agreement to local breaks between the traditional land custodians, surf tourism operators and visiting surfers. This means on most days you will most likely be sharing a break with just your mates and a few friendly locals, while at the same time helping to preserve the ocean playground.
PNG is surfing’s last frontier. There are notable surf camps located in Vanimo, Kavieng, Wewak and Madang with waves ranging from 1 – 10 foot between October and April for surfers of all levels to enjoy. You will find reef breaks, points and the odd beach break.
Surfing in Papua New Guinea is an experience not to be missed for anyone looking for a unique surf trip!
